Hello Readers,
I'd like to say that I took a sabbatical from this site to get my studies in order, my head on straight, and my life moving in a forward direction. I'm sure what you're all thinking though, is that I didn't get my rear in gear in first year, else you would have heard something about it. You're right. I didn't get my rear in gear last year, and the fact that I couldn't commit to blogging a few times a week is a sad testament to that fact.
It seems I'm a fan of beginnings, however, and here I am, at another beginning, preparing to make promises to myself (and you, I guess), about how I'm going to be better. This time is feeling different though. Last year I started in November, making all these self-directed accusations and I remedied them with declarations of growth. This year, I will attest to my own growth and change with the improvements already seen in my first semester of second year.
The practice rooms have become a more familiar place, my desk has become less of a decorative piece of furniture, and my overall dedication to my success has improved. I'm proud of that, and I'm excited to see where it will take me.
As things get moving, I find I have a lot to look forward to, so I'll keep this post short. I wanted to let anyone who's reading know that I'm back in the game! Maybe I'll post again this week, and maybe not. Hopefully you'll hear some exciting things from me soon though, as I hope to have exciting things to relate!
